One of the most unique of teas, Dragon Pearl Jasmine Green Tea receives its name from the small pearl like balls that the tea is hand rolled into after being scented with bushels of Jasmine flowers.  Twice a year the tea plant forms new buds that are handpicked and then dried.  The new buds of the tea plant are sweet and mellow.  Bushels of fragrant Jasmine flowers are then blended with the tea to scent the very receptive silver tipped buds.  The Jasmine flowers are then removed and then the real work begins.  Each pearl is made up of about three to four leaves and they are hand rolled and then tied to retain their shape and fragrance.  The result of this extraordinary tea is a highly fragrant yet very mellow brew.  Simply a must try for all green tea lovers.
